The sterling silver Snakes in Love pendants derive from one of my early art pieces, Hourglass, 2005.
More slender and graceful than their original manifestation, each Snakes in Love pendant measures
3 inches by 1 inch at its widest points. A simple, circular bail gives the impression that the pendant floats
on the neck when worn with a flexible chain.
Initially handcrafted in wax, cast in sterling silver, then hand polished and refined, each pendant
represents approximately 20 hours of labor. Photos of the metal casting stage of these pendants’

Femme fatales, you can now deliver the kiss of death with a lipstick bullet! Made with found brass
cartridges (which have all been fired from a gun and are now safe for wear), polymer clay, paint, and
epoxy resin, each lipstick bullet pendant is completely unique.

As someone who has been actively engaged in a quest to avoid pregnancy for years, I tend to think of
sperm as the enemy. This bullet-sperm pendant expresses my feelings about scary sperm in a playful
(if slightly cynical) way.
The head of the "sperm" is made of a copper bullet jacket. I melted the original bullet lead out; this
pendant is lead-free. The "bullet" may look menacing, but it's just a copper casing and completely safe to
wear. The tail is a brass rod that I tapered and sanded before soldering it to the bullet jacket. The entire
piece is darkened with a liver of sulfur patina, adding to its dark and dangerous look. Bullet-proof
condoms sold separately.

This brown-eyed metal flower is charmingly bizarre. Measuring 1.6 by 1.6 inches, it is made with thin
copper sheet metal and a tiny glass eye. Its back is lined with polymer clay and sealant for comfortable
wear. A wide bail allows this pendant to be worn on a variety of chains.
